LEVEL 2-WORD AWARENESS

Activity number 1: Compound Words

Now, listen to me, we are going to do an activity, so open your ears, close your mouth and cross your arms.

I have a few pictures here that I going to show you, and if you know which word is it… Can you say it loud please? Ready?

                                     

Pig and tail! Really good everybody and Do you know that if we put these words together we form another word? Yes, PIGTAIL!

Activity number 2: Rhyming Game

First we are going to read several rhyme phrases aloud, emphasizing the rhyming words.

Now, all of you have to complete each phrase with the correct rhyme word aloud.

For example:
