The owl who was afraid of the dark

 

This story:

  • Include more complex structures and figurative language
  • Include characterisation and events which challenge pupils' understanding of theme
  • Include stories and poems with more sustained plots, descriptions and interactions
  • Require a deeper response
  • Represent a range of genres.



 How can we work the story?

 

Now, we can work this story in a different way, in this case we are going to introduce children in the Nearpod program. This is a program  which you can control what your student´s see in their computers or tablets.

So, in here we can produce a presentation of the story and the lesson





Then you have to choose the different activities and selecting what do you want to work with this story. When you consider that it is enough, you only have to publish your presentation and your pupils can join themselves to the lesson.
One of the importants things is that you can create a questionare about the story with differents questions/ or about the childrens' knowledge :
